St. Mary’s English Medium School Nadiad was started in the year 2003-2004, under the guidance and headship of Rev. Fr. Lawrance, with only 50 students in Jr. K.G.
The very next year in 2004-2005, Sr. K.G. was started with more than 50 students with two S.M.I sister’s Sr. Paulin and Sr. Melna. This is how every year, new classes with new divisions were added and Kindergarten for kids under 3 years old was also started.
In the year 2008, Rev. Fr Rocky Pinto took the charge of St. Mary’s School as a new Principal. Under his efforts, a separate building was constructed for English Medium in the year 2010 and Sr. Alphina was appointed as The Principal. Slowly and gradually the school started opening its wings by adding new sections.
Under the leadership of Fr. Cyril school began Commerce stream. Well equipped computer lab and projector room started escalating towards new heights.
With the growing demand of Science stream, School opened Science stream under the leadership of Rev. Fr John Baptist.
In the year 2020-21, Rev. Fr. Vincent Paul was appointed as Head of the institution.
Rev. Fr Sigeon Kumar has taken the charge of Principal in the year 2021-22. Presently the school has well equipped computer lab, seminar hall, R.O. water plant, projector room, library with good number of books and well qualified and trained teachers.
A good education is a foundation for a better future. We believe in imparting quality education. Students are given a platform to identify their own talents through various activities. All the activities are based on their subjects and the knowledge gained throughout the year. During the academic year, we focus mainly on the language, education and discipline in the school.
Through regular tests and evaluations students’ growth and development are monitored. Students are encouraged to participate in various competitive exams. We provide our valuable guidance and time at various levels to ensure the growth and development of the children. Students are given various opportunity to learn variety of things such as computer, karate, art and craft etc. Students are actively involved in learning process. Overall we ensure all round development of the students.
